2020, March 13th: The Schachklub Bad Homburg is observing the current developments in the Corona crisis, of course.
We currently assume that the currently reasonable restrictions on public life will then be lifted and that the Rhein-Main-Open will take place in June.

2020, April 16th: Yesterday, the German Government extended the restrictions in public life by 2 weeks, until May 3rd. This could also put the Rhein-Main-Open at risk, even if it takes place 5 weeks later. We are keeping an eye on the situation and will try to ensure planning security in the next few weeks.

2020, May 1st: Due to the Corona-Crisis the Rhein-Main-Open 2020 is cancelled!
Further information (in German).
We count on your understanding and hope for a much better 2021!

2021, May 13th: As the Corona-Crisis is still viral the Rhein-Main-Open 2021 had to be cancelled, too!
Further information (in German).
We count on your understanding and think we'll back in 2022, again!
